KURETAKE: Be Mine Heart Box

With Valentine's Day being around the corner, I thought I would share a KURETAKE ZIG® project using one of their box templates. It is also featured on KURETAKE ZIG Blog post today! Last time I showed this heart box template, I made a place setting that resembled a turkey! LOL!! This time I thought it would be appropriate to use as it is intended for (well, one of the themes - lol!!)...

Be Mine Heart Box by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - KURETAKE ZIG: Gift Box Template Heart, ZIG Brushable Marker (Spring Green), ZIG Fine & Chisel Marker (Pure Red)  and ZIG 2-Way Glue Chisel Tip; Patterned Papers - Authentique Paper (Lovely Collection); Stamp: JustRite PaperCraft (Ooh La La French Frill set); Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S5-145 French Frills and S5-086 Bitty Blossoms); Black Rhinestones: Want2Scraps

First I traced Gift Box Template Heart with a pencil, cut the edges and scored along with the lines in the template. Then I assembled and adhered with ZIG 2-Way Glue Chisel Tip. After it dried, I used ZIG Fine & Chisel Marker (Pure Red) to outline the edges of the box.

Next I inked my image from JustRite® PaperCraft's Ooh La La French Frill stamp set with ZIG Brushable Marker (Spring Green) and stamped on to white background on the flip side of my patterned paper. Then cut/embossed with its matching die shape, S5-145/JBS5145 French Frills tag die. With my ZIG Fine & Chisel Marker (Pure Red) marker, I wrote "Be Mine."

After I cut/embossed my Bitty Blossom die and rolled the blossom, I assembled all my embellishment onto the box front. Now I need to add my...er, his favorite candy and I'm good to give away!

Here's a second look at the box :)

So what are you creating for Valentine's Day? Please share and link me up in the comments!

Happy Birthday, Hiro!!!

YIKES! Looks like I haven't blogged in like FOREVER! SORRY~! Most of you know that I work on Spellbinders™ Paper Arts' marketing and web team. This 2013 Winter CHA (Craft & Hobby Assoc.) trade show was our BIGGEST release to date...over 180 items. Well, that means I write all those descriptions and measure every single die templates/bezels/blanks PLUS other responsibilities (too long to list!). BUT I LOVE IT!! LOL!!

Yesterday, my responsibility (and important) is being MOM :) So I am wishing my "little" guy, Hiro, a SUPER 16 birthday!! He finished his first semester final exam on Friday, went to a chess conference on Saturday to place 1st in fifth board category - beating out over 350 players and last night, we had dinner at a restaurant of his choice - Buffalo Wild Wings! SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HIRO!! Love you!!!

Happy Birthday by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Card Base, Cardstock, Die Cuts, Sticker Sentiments and Sand-It Gadget: Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock® (David Tutera™ Celebrate Card Making System); Stamp: JustRite® PaperCraft Inc. (Vintage Travel Background Stamp); Watermark Ink: TSUKINEKO (VersaMark); Embossing Powder: American Crafts (Black Opaque); Wood Button: Maya Road; Metal Gears: Advantus (Tim Holtz Idea-ology); Embossing Folder: Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (EL-015 Bricks and Bark M-Bossabilities™ Folder); Tools: ScraPerfect (Perfect Crafting Pouch) and Fiskars (Easy Stamp Press); Adhesive: ScraPerfect (Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares)

This is what I started with to stamp the image. Love this Perfect Crafting Pouch - makes the stamped image more sharper and works great on vellum and computer printing too!

Here's a video on its uses...

This medal came home with Hiro on Saturday! Last year, he was Board #8 and in a year, he's up half way (#1 being the toughest). In a couple of weeks, he'll be headed to State in Peoria - fingers crossed that he will do well :)

Next, I'll post pictures of the Core'dinations booth at CHA with all the David Tutera Celebrate Cardmaking System!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday, Taka!!

Today is my oldest's birthday - EIGHTEEN!! How in the world did he get to be THAT OLD?! He was a little guy last I remember ;0P

See? This was taken when he attended an international Japanese school in the NJ/NY area back in 2001. This was his first day of school as a kindergartner. Luckily he doesn't check my blog - otherwise, I would be in trouble! HeeHee!!

Now look...a senior in high school...now how did that seriously happen?! OY~!! I am so proud of what he has become...a kind, well-mannered young man. Happy Birthday, sweet boy!!

For his birthday, his favorite meal - Japanese! Gee, no brainer! LOL!! We plan to go out to our favorite restaurant, DARUMA :0) For those of you in the surrounding Schaumburg IL area, it is a MUST GO for Japanese food!

And a card for him...

Your Special Day by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Paper: Authentique Paper (Loyal Collection); Stamp: JustRite PaperCraft (Your Special Day Medallion Labels set); Ink: TSUKINEKO (Memento Ink); Pearls: Want2Scrap; Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S5-131 A2 Matting Basics A, S5-132 A2 Matting Basics B and S5-134 A2 Fancy Postage Stamps) and JustRite PaperCraft exclusive by Spellbinders Paper Arts (Medallion Labels); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (the Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares)

Oh and his gift...this morning his dad called the insurance company and included Taka in the policy! He can now drive without ME in the car! LOL!! Remember he has a couple of more days till Christmas so he's good! HA!

So happy birthday, Taka! We love you!

ScraPerfect: Fancy 2012 Heirloom Ornament Card

Today I'm up on the ScraPerfect Blog's Fancy 2012 Heirloom Ornament post! I'm a little bit early but I created a holiday card :0)

Fancy 2012 Heirloom Ornament Card by Margie Higuchi
Supplies – Stamp: JustRite® Papercraft (Lattice Background Stamp); Ink: TSUKINEKO (VersaMark); Embossing Powder: Stampendous (Detail White); Dies, Embossing Folder & Craft Foil: Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (S5-116 2012 Heirloom Ornament, S5-131 A-2 Matting Basics A, S5-132 A-2 Matting Basics B, EL-014 Holiday Magic M-Bossabilities™ Folder and F-012 Precious Metal Premium Craft Foils Assortment); Tools & Adhesive: ScraPerfect (Embellie Gellie, Perfect Crafting Pouch, Perfect Cleaning Cloth and Best Glue Ever); Other: Black, White Cardstock, Red Tinsel Trim

Swipe the Perfect Crafting Pouch over the black cardstock before stamping image. I also swipe the Perfect Crafting Pouch over the sheet of paper to catch the embossing in…don’t want to miss any powder! LOL!

Next I cut/embossed all my pieces with Spellbinders Card Creator series – all the die cuts layer perfectly on to an A-2 (4 ¼ x 5 ½”) card. Using the Best Glue Ever, I can even apply glue on the narrowest of edges.

When placing all the pieces together, you will get a card front that is shown below...

Next I embossed the craft foil with M-Bossabilities Folder and cut/emboss it with 2012 Heirloom Ornament. I wanted to highlight the beautiful embossing so I used sandpaper and wipe it clean with the Perfect Cleaning Cloth.

Then I assembled all the pieces together to create the finished card...here's a second look.

Hope you enjoyed the process and how these ScraPerfect products are a "must have" in your basic tool kit! LIKE what you see? Bookmark ScraPerfect's Blog and LIKE them on ScraPerfect FaceBook Page!

ScrapMart: Happy Birthday Linda!

I am sharing a shaped card created with Spellbinders™ Nestabilities® Card Creator series to celebrate one of my dearest friends' MILESTONE birthday - we've known each other from junior high school days (a LONG time - lol!)! Welcome to "The Club" Linda!!! LOL!

Happy Birthday (Linda) by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Paper: Teresa Collins (Carolina Breeze Collection); Stamp: JustRite Papercraft (Elegant Charms Set); Ink: Ranger (Distress Ink); Pearl: Want2Scrap (Gun Metal); Spellbinders Paper Art (S5-118 Venetian Accents, S5-108 Vintage Lace Accents, S5-131 A-2 Matting Basics A, S5-132 A-2 Matting Basics B and S5-133 Polk A Dots); Adhesive: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares)
Her taste is sophisticated so the color combination of yellow and grey came to mind. I hand cut a two-sided banner ribbon for a pop of yellow in the middle. Then I mixed the two Accent and Motif sets as a focal point and to frame the birthday sentiment.

After I decided which patterned paper (that was the hardest part), it took only minutes to make this! Love the Card Creator series - if you are a card maker, these sets should be in your collection (wink, wink!).

What is your favorite color combination? I think this is my newest favorite...next to blue and yellow :)

Thanks for stopping by!

ScrapMart: Bounty of the Harvest

Today for ScrapMart, I thought I'd share a window card created with Spellbinders Paper Arts' newest releases - Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven and Labels Twenty-Seven, and the new company, FarmHouse Paper Company's Sugar Hill Collection.

Bounty of the Harvest by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: Core'dinations (Vintage Collection); Patterned Paper: Farmhouse Paper Company (Sugar Hill Collection); Stamps: JustRite Papercraft Inc (Nature's Nested Sentiments Set); Ink: Clearsnap (Mix'd Media Inx by Donna Salazar); Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S4-380 Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven, S4-376 Labels Twenty-Seven and S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares); Other: Sandpaper

For the window card, I used these dies to create the layers that frame the window as well as its opening.

LOVE the details on Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven!! If you ended up with this die set, I would recommend wax paper between the die template and cardstock. It helps the paper to pop out of the dies.

For the inside, I used layers of Labels Twenty-Seven and leaves from Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents to create this focal point. To add dimension, I added 3D Foam Squares to adhere and inked through the leaf die as well as sanded the embossing = LOVE!

Have a great day!!

Core'dinations: Core Cards Creative Frenzy

Putting in my hat for the Core'dinations Card Design Team Call! So here goes...click on images for a closer look :0)

Beauty of Fall by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: Core'dinations; Pearl: Want2Scrap; Die: Stamp: JustRite Papercraft Inc (Nature's Nested Sentiments Set); Ink: Ranger (Distress Ink Black Soot); Spellbinders Paper Arts (S5-112 Carnival Dream, S4-324 Ribbon Banners and EL-023 M-Bossabilities Tweets & Twigs Folder); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Square Foams)

I love how the cardstock took to the pressure from Spellbinders™ M-Bossabilities™ Tweets and Twigs folder. It also can handle the intricate cuts, folds and the many tucks I had to do on these Cut·Fold·Tuck Carnival Dream die set...there are three layers in the center piece - so durable!

Just Because by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: Core'dinations; Patterned Papers: Authentique Paper (Loyal Collection); Pearls: Want2Scrap; Stamp: A Jillian Vance Design (Quatrefoil Background Set); Ink: Clearsnap (Mix'd Media Inx by Donna Salazar); Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S5-147 Resplendent Rectangles, S4-364 Spiral Blossom Four, S5-086 Bitty Blossoms and S5-028 Nested Pennants); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Square Foams)

Speaking of intricate cuts, the Resplendent Rectangles dies are part of the Majestic Elements line from Spellbinders which won the Innovations Award at the summer CHA (Craft & Hobby Assoc.) trade show last month. Core'dinations cardstock had no trouble being cut like this and hold its own when used as a shaped card. I used the three largest nested die to create a beautiful card front. I created a collage of step outs - click to see larger image and short explanation...

Bounty of the Harvest by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: Core'dinations; Patterned Paper: FarmHouse Paper Company (Sugar Hill Collection); Stamp: JustRite Papercraft Inc (Nature's Nested Sentiments Set); Ink: Clearsnap (Mix'd Media Inx by Donna Salazar); Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S4-380 Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven, S4-376 Labels Twenty-Seven and S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags and Accents); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares); Other: Sandpaper

I used Core'dination's Vintage Collection to bring out a fall inspired look...doesn't it go well with the patterned papers?! LOVE!!! The flip side gives the inside of the card a beautiful finish and does not distract what I added to it.

So there you have it! Hope you enjoyed it as much I enjoyed the process! Keeping my fingers crossed - wishing everyone who applied much luck!!!

TaDa Creative Studios: Decorative Labels Eight Birthday Card

On TaDa Creative Studios' Blog, I created a shaped card out of the newest Spellbinders Paper™ Arts Nestabilities® Decorative Elements dies, S5-148 Decorative Labels Eight. Don't you love the detailed edge on this set?! LOVE!! It matches their S5-019 Labels Eight set.

Decorative Labels Eight Birthday Card by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Papers: TaDa Creative Studios (Goody Two Shoes Collection); Ink: Clearsnap; Ink Mist: Tattered Angel Glimmer Mist (Pink Bubblegum); Stamp: JustRite PaperCrafters (Elegant Charms set); Bling: Want2Scrap; Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S4-378 Cherry Blossoms, S5-148 Decorative Labels Eight, S5-019 Labels Eight and S4-367 Back to Basics Tags); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES By 3L (3D Foam Squares)

Just a note...when you use dies with intrique cuts, make sure to put wax paper between the die and cardstock to pop the paper out with ease. After a couple of times using this die set, I don't need to use wax paper anymore :)

I made this card for a dear friend of mine who I was with on her birthday - didn't bother to tell me and found out through FaceBook (but she did not post her birthday on there)! Thanks to one of her friends from Japan who posted - LOL!! So happy belated birthday, Emi!!!

If you have a chance come visit Decorative Labels Eight Birthday Card post on TaDa Creative Studios' Blog and let them know what you think of my card! They love feedback :0)

Thanks for taking the time to pop in!

ScrapMart: Happy Belated Birthday

Last week was my husband's 50th birthday!! What do you get someone who has everything?! Well, how about a house full of in-laws?! LOL!!

My sister-in-law and friend were in town - their kids attend summer school and camp at Northwestern University. They rented a car for the day so they came to visit. LOVE to spend time with family :0)

So happy belated birthday, honey...just what you wanted a house full of yappy and happy people! HA!

The cake we got him was from a Japanese bakery (Mont Blanc) in Arlington Hts, IL. If you are in the area, you have to taste their cakes and they also sell by the slice = YUM~!

For him, I created this card....

For an A2 sized card, these basic matting sets and other decorative sets will be any paper crafters dream of a perfect cut and layering come true - it's a beautiful thing!!! LOL!!

ScrapMart: Friends

With Spellbinders™ M-Bossabilities™ Enchanted folder, I created a card using the letterpress technique - a favorite technique. This time I used it as a background to give my card a touch of elegance.

Friends by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: The Paper Company (white) and American Crafts (green); Stamp: JustRite Stampers (Your Special Day Medallion Labels set and JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels dies); Ink: Ranger Ink's Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peeled Paint); Pins: Maya Road; Bling: Want2Scrap; Ribbon: Offray; Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (Grand Calibur Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, S5-031 Fancy Tags Three and ES-005 Enchanted); Tool: Scor-Pal; Adhesive: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVE BY 3L (3D Foam Squares)

I swiped the ink across side B design (remember with Spellbinders M-Bossabilities, you get TWO DESIGNS - LOVE that!!). Then I carefully placed a piece 4 1/2 x 5 1/2" of white cardstock...just enough to cover the design.

If you have using Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, you will need a Raspberry Plate (D Plate/Adapter Plate) for all embossing folders.

Embossing Sandwich in the Spellbinders Grand Calibur (bottom UP):
A Plate (Base Plate)
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Enchanted w/ cardstock
D Plate (Raspberry Adapter Plate)

I used the junior plates as I had only one product to use and it was so much quicker...definitely recommend this set for small projects. See my post on Scrap-Mart: Spellbinders Junior Plates Are Available for detailed info.

After I letterpressed, trim the cardstock 4 x 5 1/4" to fit on a A2 card and inked the edges. Next I stamped the sentiment and cut/embossed the Oval Medallion Labels #2 (the smallest die is #1) over the sentiment. Assembled with 3D Foam Squares and Nestabling. Adhered everything as shown. A second look...

Supplies Available at Scrap-Mart.com:

ScrapMart: Wanted To Say Hello

Wanted To Say Hello by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: The Paper Company; Patterned Paper: Graphic45 (Little Darling Collection) & Canvas Corp (Red Swirl/B side: Kraft); Stamp: JustRite Stampers; Embossing Ink: VersaMark; Embossing Powder: American Crafts; Molding Paste: Golden; Tool: Marvy Uchida (Corru-Gator Paper Crimper); Dies/Embossing Folder: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S5-086 Bitty Blossoms, ES-002 Regal M-Bossabilities™ folder (Side A) and JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels (JustRite Stampers Exclusive Dies); Adhesive: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares)
For my ScrapMart post, I created a card with JustRite Stampers Your Special Day Medallion Labels Cling set and their JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels (their exclusive die manufactured by Spellbinders™ Paper Arts).

Available at Scrap-Mart.com
Spellbinders Paper Arts: S5-086 Bitty Blossoms, ES-002 Regal M-Bossabilities folder (Side A)
JustRite Stampers:  Your Special Day Medallion Labels Cling set, JB-10025 Nested Oval Medallion Labels (JustRite Stampers Exclusive Dies)

Think outside of the box:
1. use theme paper for a different occasion (baby theme into an all occasion card);
2. use mix media elements in cards (something as simple as adding molding paste into the ridges);
3. use a substitute supply (used Kraft cardstock and paper crimper for corrugated cardboard look)

Hope this has you thinking other ways to use your scraps...challenge yourself and see what you come up with!

Thanks for stopping by!!

ScrapMart: My Wish

Hello!

Today is my turn to post for ScrapMart :0) As I mentioned in my previous post, CraftFancy: Make'n Take Saturday, I have been creating with my Spellbinders™ Cut•Fold•Tuck die templates and still continuing to create this card...

My Wish by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: American Crafts; Patterned Paper: October Afternoon; Stamp: JustRite Stampers (Your Special Day Set & JB-10020 Nested Medallion Label Dies JustRite Stamper Exclusive Dies); Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (S4-114 Spectacular Spin); Ink: Ranger, Pins: Maya Road; Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares); Other; White cardstock, pearls

Note: I cut/embossed two of the same die (S4-114 Spectacular Spin #3 - #1 being the smallest size) and size in two different colors (purple and white). After I folded and tuck, I layered the die cuts one on top of the other and then shifted the top die cut slightly to create a wonderful center piece for this 4¼ x 4¼" card.

I hope you consider these die templates - they ARE easy! The hardest part about this card was putting the pearls on the die cuts! LOL!

Have a great day!
As always, thanks for visiting :0)

Authentique: March Sketch Challenge

A few days ago, I was at my LSS (CraftFancy in Arlington Hts. IL) and purchased Authentique Paper's Genuine Collection. Have you noticed a trend in the blue and yellow color combination in many paper collections? Love it! Using my new purchase, I had to participate in Authentique's March Sketch Challenge (card). This time I made the deadline (wink wink) - LOL!!

Happy Birthday by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock: Wausau Paper; Patterned Paper: Authentique Paper (Genuine Collection); Stamp: JustRite Stampers (Elegant Charm Set); Ink: TSUKINEKO; Trinket Pin: Maya Road; Pearl: KaiserCraft; Epoxy Embellishment: Epiphany Crafts (Pennant 25); Dies: Spellbinders Paper Arts (E8-004 Classic Ric Rac, S4-132 Classic Rectangles LG, S5-029 Nested Lacey Pennants and S5-113 Floral Burst); Adhesives: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L (3D Foam Squares)

I was hoping to create this card with a masculine touch...what do you think?

Today is the start of our Spring Break week but the boys have a full schedule with tennis and doctor's appointments ;0) Are you on Spring Break too?

Anyways thanks for stopping by!

Scrap-Mart: Keep Calm And Enjoy Vacation

Hi all!

Today I have created a mini sack using JustRite Stampers Keep Calm stamp set and a few of Spellbinders die templates. I thought it would be an appropriate theme as we just got back this morning from vacation (red eye flight from Los Angeles...details later...need sleep!)!

Keep Calm and Enjoy Vacation Mini Sack by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Patterned Paper - My Mind's Eye (Follow Your Heart Collection); Stamp: JustRite Stampers (Keep Calm set); Ink: Ranger & Clearsnap; Dies: Spellbinders (JB-10025 JustRite Nested Oval Medallion Label Dies, S5-086 Bitty Blossoms, S5-079 Persian Motifs, S5-105 Floral Tags); Glitter: Ranger (Frosted Lace Stickles); Marker: Copics; Pearl: KaiserCraft; Texture: FlowerSoft; Twine: Twinery; Adhesive: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever); Other: Mini sack

Some people have been asking about the Spellbinders spiral flower dies so I have put together a step-by-step picture on how to use them...

Cut and Emboss.

Start rolling tightly from the outside towards the middle. This will be the center of the flower.

Then as you roll along, you can loosely roll the paper.

See the blossom forming? But don't make it too loose :)

Add wet adhesive to the circle base and place the blossom on top. Hold for a few moments until it sets.

While it sets, gentle move the petals to form a beautiful flower.

So I hope that is helpful to some of you :)
Have a great day, everyone!!

Snowflake Card

This is also posted on ScraPerfect Blog today...

Every year we send out family photo cards for the holidays and we still do. But this year, I created this Snowflake card in blue for a special high school friend who I just reconnected with after 30 years…the power of FaceBook! LOL!! I love how it turned out so I wanted to share with you!

I embossed a piece of 4 1/8 x 5 3/8” white shimmery cardstock with the Swiss Dot embossing folder. In its center, I cut/embossed one large S5-054 2011 Snowflake Pendants and the medium center piece nested inside to create an opening. Set aside the die cuts.

Using the same die template set, I cut/embossed another set with another white shimmery cardstock. Placed the embossed card front onto the A2 card base with The Best Glue Ever. Shifted the snowflake die cuts in the desired look and adhered. The center piece, I used foam tape. With The Embellie Gellie, I was able to place the bling perfectly in the center!

For the inside of the card, I needed an embossed sentiment. So I prepped the piece of paper where I will dump the embossing powder on by wiping with the Perfect Crafting Pouch. This will help the powder slide easily back into its container.

Next I used the Perfect Crafting Pouch on the area where I will be stamping. I used my S5-025 Labels Seventeen die template as a guide. It is very important to use the pouch because as you can see, the font is very fine - no room for mistakes! After it was heated and cooled, place the die template over the sentiment and tape with repositionable tape to secure. Cut/emboss and place in the inside of the card. You’re done!

Snowflake Card by Margie Higuchi
Supplies Cardstock: WorldWin Papers; Stamp: JustRite Stampers; Embossing Powder: American Crafts; Ink: VersaMark; Bling: Prima; Dies: Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (S5-054 2011 Snowflake Pendants, S5-025 Labels Seventeen); Embossing Folder: Sizzix; Tools and Adhesive: ScraPerfect (The Perfect Crafting Pouch, The Best Glue Ever, The Embellie Gellie); Other: Foam Tape

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you can get reconnected with friends and loved ones over the holiday season - it's the perfect excuse!!

Happy Holidays and may beautiful moments surround you and your family with joy!!
