Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Creating Dimensional Hippity Hop Easter Card

Happy Easter Greetings to you all! Today I'm on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog sharing this sweet Easter card full of dimension using 3D Foam Squares and adhered with a combination of E-Z Runner® Grand and Adhesive Dots Micro to showcase an adorable bunny image from Flourishes LC. I've added layers of Spellbinders® die cuts and My Mind's Eye patterned papers to finish the look.

**I receive products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®, Spellbinders® Paper Arts and Flourishes LC for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use :) **

Let's start by stamping the bunny in the Vintage Easter stamp set with black ink. Color the bunny with watercolor pencils. I used pink for tender areas of the bunny and then layered with brown color. After I achieved my look, I fussy cut the bunny.

I outlined the edges of the bunny with black watercolor pencil. Note the difference between the right (edged with black watercolor pencil) and the left (without the edging).

Stamped my sentiment onto patterned paper with black ink, using a stamp positioning tool.

With the bunny shape as a guide, I was able to determine where to place my Spellbinders oval die template. To frame the oval shape, I used a Scalloped Oval. Now to cut and emboss with my die-cutting and embossing machine.

The bunny popped up with dimension with 3D Foam Squares - Black Mix. Some I cut in half to fit around its ears and feet! Place it on top of the oval die cut.

The scalloped oval and oval die cuts were adhered together with E-Z Runner® Grand.

I also stamped a sentiment and egg accent design inside the card to make it more personal.

The sweet floral trim was secured with Adhesive Dots Micro in each center of the flower and placed it across toward the bottom of the card front. Then added a mini self-adhesive pearl on each exposed flower center.

Lastly I added a combination of Regular and Small sizes from 3D Foam Squares - Black Mix to the back of the matted bunny oval (leave room for the trim). Center onto card front and you're done! Another look...

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Happy Birthday Card with Adhesive Dots Flower Centers

I'm on the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Blog today. I made a very special card for a special lady - my mom! Happy Birthday!! Along with loads of dimension, I used Adhesive Dots Small and glitter to create a sparkly flower center. Would you use this technique?

**As a part of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Design Team and Spellbinders® Paper Arts, I receive products for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use :) **

Let's start with the flower die cuts. I die-cut, embossed and then stencil through the die with ink to highlight its embossed design.

Next I embossed a 4.0 x 5.25 inch piece of dark pink cardstock with an embossing folder to make my A2-sized (4.25 x 5.50 inch) card panel. Cut and embossed a leafy vine in green cardstock.

I wanted a different kind of dimension so I cut the dark pink card panel one third from the bottom to leave space in between to stamp my sentiment. Using Crafty Foam Tape - Black, it give the panels a lift.

Using the two piece card panel as my guide, I lined up the sentiment in my stamp placement tool for a perfect imprint.

Now my favorite part! Making those glittery flower centers :) I placed an Adhesive Dots Small in the center, rub and lift off liner gently. Then pour on the glitter over the adhesive dot, press and shake off excess. SUPER EASY + FAST!

Next I trimmed the leafy vine and adhered with the Adhesive Dots Small (behind the leaves), then adhered flowers with 3D Foam Squares Regular White on top for extra dimension.

Here's another look...

Flourishes & Spellbinders Blog Hop - Country Charm

We don’t need to tell you that tags and labels are two of the trendiest items to hit the card making market in a long time! And, to help you add style and pizzazz to your creations, Flourishes has teamed up with Spellbinders™ Paper Arts to make sure you have the perfect set of stamps to match a darling set of tag style dies.

Wonderfully whimsical and reminiscent of Grandma’s calico prints, Flourishes “charming” set offers three labels that coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders S4-322 Grommet Tags. Designed by Becky Fleck, you'll also find six beautiful sentiments and four accent stamps to dress up your labels!

Pair that with Flourishes Country Charm Borders and you have the perfect set to make darling note cards in minutes. Flourishes coordinating Country Charm Borders set features five border strips that match the labels set to a tee. What fun!

Because Flourishes knew this set was PERFECT with Spellbinder's Grommet Tags, both design teams are joining forces for a fun-filled “show and tell” blog hop! This is what I created…

Taking an A2 sized card, I stamped the scalloped border twice with straight edges touching to make a wider border in the middle of the card front.

I stamped the smallest tag image and the “Speak Of Your Gratitude” sentiment onto white cardstock. Using a piece of scrap that was previously cut/embossed the Grommet Tags with, I aligned it over the stamp image. This gives me perfect placement when cutting and embossing. Secure with repositionable tape.

Next, I stamped the narrow border onto pink cardstock and cut with trimmer. Then I cut tails on the ends and gently pleated to form a ribbon.

To assemble the card, I used liquid adhesive for the ribbon to place in the center and foam squares to give the stamped tag dimension.

To give a finished look, I added pearls to each end of the tag before placing on top of the ribbon. Then added three more pearls on the card front for a subtle accent by the border.

Here is a second look…

Flourishes Blog Hop!!!

When Flourishes first laid eyes on two of the new die templates fresh off the production line at Spellbinders™, they knew that a stamp set to coordinate with these funky and fresh dies were needed! Are you ready to take a peek?

This fun Birthday Pennants Set just screams celebration! It offers six different pennants and flags all designed to coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders S5-028 Nested Pennants and S5-029 Nested Lacey Pennants. Also included are nine sentiments and eight accents that you can deck out your pennant shapes in fun and different ways!

Birthday Pennants Set

Wait, there's more! How about their new Strips and Stripes background set to coordinate? This set offers three strips to use together as a background or separate as three different strips. Perfect with the Birthday Pennants set!

Strips and Stripes Set

Because Flourishes knew these sets were a match made in heaven with the Spellbinder's die templates, they asked some of the Spellbinders Designers to join the Flourishes Team for a little show and tell!

I'd like to show what I created with their fabulous stamp sets and Spellbinders S4-312 Blossom Three, S4-328 Foliage and S5-028 Nested Pennants to make this lacey gift bag!

First, I stamped the lacey border from the Strips and Stripes background set with Versamark ink to cover the mini bag's front side. Then I applied white embossing powder and heat embossed. I love how this looked!

Next, I stamped the flag pennant image and the "Surprise" sentiment onto pink cardstock. To get the perfect placement and cut, I suggest stamping the image first and then placing the die template over it to cut. Don't forget to use repositionable tape to secure the die template :)

Now to the FUN PART - the Grand Calibur! I cut S4-312 Blossom Three #1, #2 and #3 (the smallest size die template is #1) with fabric. To get a clean cut from fabric, I recommend cutting with printer paper in the sandwich - worked like a charm! I cut/embossed S4-328 Foliage with green cardstock.

I assembled the blossoms. Then centered with a white button and added a pearl. I creased the middle of each leaf to create more dimension. Adhered all as shown and it's ready to give away!

I hope you enjoyed my project! Now be sure to hop on over and see....

Flourishes Blog Hop - A Gift For You

If you’ve been searching for a perfect set that give class and elegance to your Christmas gift packaging, search no more! Today, Flourishes is introducing a brand new set, "A Gift for You," that will fit the bill! Spellbinders™ is thrilled to be joining in on the fun!

This set was designed to coordinate with Flourishes best-selling Christmas stamp sets and of course, Spellbinders Die Templates! "A Gift For You" was drawn and designed by Marcella Hawley. It offers eight (8) different tag styles and eight (8) different sentiments to fit inside!

With this set, I created a gift and tag set. The image I used in my tag is compatible to S4-290 Labels Fourteen #4 (smallest size die is #1).

Supplies Spellbinders S4-290 Labels Fourteen, S4-219 Nested Poinsettias, I2-1005 Impressabilities™ Circles and F-002 Green Premium Craft FoilFlourishes "A Gift For You"; Ink: Tsukineko, Ranger Ink; Glitter: Ranger Inks; Cardstock: WorldWin Papers, Aspire Beargrass Linen  Cover & Colormates Cardinal Red; Marker: Copics; Misc: Brad, Foam Tape

I created the gift tag first by stamping all the images onto cardstock. The top part I stamped in green. With Copics, I colored the ornaments and highlighted with glitter. After it dried, I cut the piece to use as a dimensional accent.

Next, I lined the images up with S4-290 Labels Fourteen #4 (tag) and #5 (foil mat) to cut/emboss. Note that I embossed the foil with I2-1005 Impressabilities Circles and sanded. Beautiful! Then assemble all the pieces of the tag with foam tape.

I found an online tutorial on how to create a box. If you do a search, you will find many. Before assembling the lid, I stamped the Poinsettia image.

Then I cut/embossed S4-219 Nested Poinsettias. I bent and curled the petals. Then poked a hole through the flower and the lid, and secured with a yellow brad.

Here's a separate look of the box and tag. An idea for the tag is to punch a hole and thread a ribbon for a hanging tag. Hope you enjoyed my project!

This stamp set coordinates well with many of Spellbinders Die Templates. Here's a list of suggestions: S4-290 Labels Fourteen, S4-291 Labels FifteenS4-301 Labels Sixteen,  S4-293 Lacey Circles, S4-304 Eyelet Circles, S4-292 Beaded Circles, S4-295 Lacey Squares or S4-305 Eyelet Squares. So many different choices! Do you have any of these die templates?

Blog Hop Prize: Would you like to win this set? Simply leave a comment on this Flourishes Blog Post (comments here are appreciated but will not count towards a prize entry) . Flourishes will draw a winner and announce this Saturday, October 16th, in their Winner's Circle. Good Luck!
