Happy Mother's Day to all especially MY MOM!! I know I don't see you everyday and don't call as often as I can...will do better in that department. So while I was at a crop for mom crafters (and some young daughters came to craft with them - how sweet to witness!), I created a card for my mom...
**I receive products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®, Spellbinders® Paper Arts and JustRite PaperCraft for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use :) **
This shaped card came together fairly quick by using just one etched die set (Diamond Effect - retired). The pink die cut was kinda of boring so I embossed it with Rose TableCloth Embossing Folder by Tammy Tutterow. Stamped a sentiment from Enjoy the Day Vintage Labels Four Clear Stamp Set by JustRite PaperCraft. Adhered everything with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and added a May Arts Ribbon bow to finish. A sweet card to give as a Mother's Day or a birthday card.
Yesterday I attended the Mom's A Scrapping crop event and surprisingly got a lot done! I usually (maybe) complete ONE PROJECT because I'm talking or eating too much! LOL!! Made a couple of new friends and got to see friends who were first timers at my friend, Kristin's event :) Isn't this front so SPRING?! Love the light box touch, Kristin! LOL!!
View from my table...fellow mom crafters at work. LOVE my Spellbinders® Platinum™ 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine!! SO MUCH easier to bring - I used to bring my "work horse" and bigger Platinum™ Machine! LOL!
Since this was a no frill crop, lunch was on your own. I purchased this ADORABLE strawberry lunch box (bento box) from my local Japanese supermarket and BONUS: on sale for $2.50!!! I grabbed it while my husband rolled his eyes until he heard the price - HA! Leftovers from last night's dinner with salmon flakes on top of the rice.
These sweet ladies I've known from other events and was their first time at this one. LOVE unexpected surprises! Great to see them!
Edit to add my Mother's Day Lunch I had with both boys in town at Yu's Restaurant :) VERY PROUD of these two young men...one is almost done and the other is about to transfer into DePaul University in Chicago IL. #GoDemons
Hope you have a FABULOUS DAY!! As always THANK YOU for taking time to visit me on the blog :)

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Creating Dimensional Hippity Hop Easter Card
Happy Easter Greetings to you all! Today I'm on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Blog sharing this sweet Easter card full of dimension using 3D Foam Squares and adhered with a combination of E-Z Runner® Grand and Adhesive Dots Micro to showcase an adorable bunny image from Flourishes LC. I've added layers of Spellbinders® die cuts and My Mind's Eye patterned papers to finish the look.
**I receive products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®, Spellbinders® Paper Arts and Flourishes LC for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use :) **
Let's start by stamping the bunny in the Vintage Easter stamp set with black ink. Color the bunny with watercolor pencils. I used pink for tender areas of the bunny and then layered with brown color. After I achieved my look, I fussy cut the bunny.
I outlined the edges of the bunny with black watercolor pencil. Note the difference between the right (edged with black watercolor pencil) and the left (without the edging).
Stamped my sentiment onto patterned paper with black ink, using a stamp positioning tool.
With the bunny shape as a guide, I was able to determine where to place my Spellbinders oval die template. To frame the oval shape, I used a Scalloped Oval. Now to cut and emboss with my die-cutting and embossing machine.
The bunny popped up with dimension with 3D Foam Squares - Black Mix. Some I cut in half to fit around its ears and feet! Place it on top of the oval die cut.
The scalloped oval and oval die cuts were adhered together with E-Z Runner® Grand.
I also stamped a sentiment and egg accent design inside the card to make it more personal.
The sweet floral trim was secured with Adhesive Dots Micro in each center of the flower and placed it across toward the bottom of the card front. Then added a mini self-adhesive pearl on each exposed flower center.
Lastly I added a combination of Regular and Small sizes from 3D Foam Squares - Black Mix to the back of the matted bunny oval (leave room for the trim). Center onto card front and you're done! Another look...
Supplies:
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®: 3D Foam Squares - Black Mix, E-Z Runner® Grand and Adhesive Dots Micro
Flourishes LC: Vintage Easter Polymer Stamp Set
Spellbinders® Paper Arts: Classic Ovals Etched Dies, Scalloped Ovals Etched Dies and Card Creator A2 Filigree Delight Etched Dies
Patterned Papers: My Mind's Eye (The Sweetest Thing Collection)
Self-Adhesive Pearls: Want2Scrap©
Ink: Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko
Tool: My Sweet Petunia (MISTI)
Trim: May Arts Ribbon
Ivory Cardstock; Watercolor Pencils

JustRite Papercraft: Celebrate Your Day With Good Friends Card
I am thrilled to be playing with the uber talented designers over at JustRite Papercrafts to help introduce JustRite® PaperCraft’s March 2015 Release!
I am using A2 Woodgrain Upcycle Frame Cling Background Stamp set and Stacking Sentiments Clear Stamp Set, with Spellbinders® Card Creator series of die templates to create a masculine card.
I stamped the A2 Woodgrain Upcycle Frame Cling Background Stamp in Rich Cocoa Ink onto white cardstock. Then I placed my A2 Matting Basics B Die #7 (the smallest die size is #1) over the image and cut/embossed with my Grand Calibur® Machine. Color the frame with watercolor pencils and soften the colors with a waterbrush and water.
Next I used my Stacking Sentiments Clear Stamp to create my sentiment. I love that I can combine and create longer sentiments for whatever occasion I choose! Here I put two sets together to create my greeting. After stamping, I placed my A2 Matting Basics A Die #3 over the it and cut/embossed.
For the card front, I wanted a textured look so I took out my Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink and swiped across my Bricks and Bark Em-bossing Fold'er™ on one side. Then Placed the card on the other side of folder, closed and embossed it through the Grand Calibur Machine.
Touch up the edges with Memento Luxe Rich Cocoa ink on the card panel and card base for a finished look...
Assemble the card panel by adhering the sentiment onto the frame background using 3D Foam Squares.
Next add the panel to the card front with E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips. Thread twine through twice, make a knot. Thread through the button, end with a bow and secure the back with DODZ™ - Small.
Add three brown pearls on top and it's ready to be sent! Here's another look...

Today, I am introducing JustRite® PaperCraft’s August 2014 Release – Sympathy Vintage Labels Eight and Nine Clear Stamps and Cornflower Damask Cling Background Stamp, using JustRite's exclusive Vintage Labels Nine Dies and Vintage Flourish One Die to create this elegant 4⅜ x 5⅝".card.

First I started out by stamping the background of my card panel with Cornflower Damask Cling Background Stamp - isn't this design gorgeous?!
Next I cut and embossed Vintage Labels Nine Dies and Vintage Flourish One Die with my Spellbinders® Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. With the label die in the Vintage Labels Nine Dies set, I first stamped the sentiment and placed the die over it for a perfect cut.
I cut and embossed two of the Vintage Flourish One Die to use to frame the nested die cuts in the center for a dynamic look as you can see below in the second image.
Assemble all the pieces and add lace ribbon with the gun metal pearls for the finishing touch. Here's a second look...

JustRite: Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps
Today, I am introducing JustRite® PaperCraft’s August 2014 Release – Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps set using JustRite's exclusive Vintage Filigree Layers (June 2014 Release) dies and Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ Whimsy Folder to create a card.
Instead of directly stamping on paper, I thought it would fun to stamp on a wide silk ribbon. Love the look and didn't bleed - thanks to Memento Luxe inks!
Set aside to dry (really you should heat set...) I stamped a sentiment from the Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps set on the white patterned paper. Then I cut and embossed Vintage Filigree Layers die over it. Cut and emboss twice - once in white and one in green patterned paper (not much pattern just of a colored distress look).
I went back and put the green patterned paper die cut back into the die template. Then I stencil through the die with ink. I showed the different between a plain die cut vs. a stenciled one. Love the stencil one!
Next I embossed the card front with Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Whimsy Folder for a beautiful textured background.
Assemble all as shown below (note that I lifted the sentiment up with 3D Foam Squares for dimension) and it's ready to be sent!
Project Supplies:
JustRite Papercraft Stamps – Elegant Fan Elements Clear Stamps set
JustRite Exclusive Dies - Vintage Filigree Layers (June 2014 Release)
Spellbinders® Creative Arts - ES-004 Whimsy
Inks – IMAGINE Craft®/TSUKINEKO® (Memento Luxe - Pistachio)
Card Base - Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock®/David Tutera™ For Darice Celebrate Cardmaking System
Patterned Papers - Authentique Paper (Festive Collection)
Silk Ribbon - May Arts
Bling - Want2Scrap©
Adhesives - ScraPerfect (Best Glue Ever) and SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L® (3D Foam Squares)
