Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: You're A Star Shaker Card from Creativation 2017

Hello everyone! I am so excited to share a window shaker card created with Keepsake Envelope Mix as an easy shaker feature on Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Blog! I had the honor of designing all three make and take projects for Creativation 2017 (formerly CHA - Craft & Hobby Assoc.) trade show in Phoenix AZ last month. Let me show how to create this fun interactive card!

**As a part of Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® Design Team, I receive products for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use :) **

To make the card base, die-cut a square on an A2 (4.25 x 5.5 in) size card front to create a window/opening. Stamp banner and sentiment. Color the banner with watercolor pencils (or coloring pencils). Set aside.

To make the shaker feature, cut patterned paper to fit inside a large Keepsake Envelope. Scoop enough sequins to fill the spoon’s bottom and place in front of patterned paper, inside the envelope.

Take out four sequins to use on the card front later. Take the liner off from the envelope and close the flap. Set aside.

Apply the E-Z Runner® Micro Refillable Dispenser close to the edge of the window as possible (to secure in place).

Curl the ends of the Keepsake Envelope liner together to make a “handle” for easy placement over the window. DO NOT REMOVE THE LINER YET – use it to adhere the adhesive edges together to secure.

Add white cardstock panel to cover shaker by applying E-Z Runner® Grand Dispenser on the edges of cardstock. Remove liner of Keepsake Envelope and place white cardstock over to cover the entire back cover of card.

Now for the fun part, embellish card front! Pull out the points of largest 3D Foam Star FIRST gently with a tooth pick WITH LINER ON (helps keep its shape). Place on top of the shaker in any way (straight, angle, etc.).

Remove the liner from the 3D Foam Star and place the foil shiny side up. Gently burnish into the star with your finger and lift the foil. For the finishing touch, add your sequins to accent the card front with a combination of Adhesive Dots Mini and new Adhesive Dots Micro.

JustRite: JULY 2013 Release - Ornament Window Card

One of my favorite cards I made for JustRite® Papercraft's July 2013 Release is from the Vintage Christmas Ornaments Stamp set using Spellbinders® newest holiday die template, S4-401 2013 Heirloom Ornament!

To create this card, I stamped the ornament image five times and cut/embossed over it with S4-401 2013 Heirloom Ornament dies. Fold in half each of the die cuts and adhered all side by side until it became one with each side open to adhere on the card inside...make sure that it fits in the window opening.

The window was created in a shape of the S4-401 2013 Heirloom Ornament die template. I cut through two layers (bottom is A2 Matting Basics A die cut and A2 Floral Ribbon Threader). Then adhered the card front to the card base and continued to cut.

For the card front, I nested two different sizes of S4-401 2013 Heirloom Ornament dies to create a frame around the window opening. To add extra accent, I nested Standard Circles LG and SM in blue paper, trimmed the top and placed blue rhinestone around the shape.

JustRite: May 2013 Release Day 1!

I am excited about the May 2013 Release because JustRite® Papercraft added some "boy" themed sets - yeah, mom of boys (COUGHmeCOUGH)!! LOL!! But today, we are introducing the Irises Vintage Labels Four set which has a matching die set, Vintage Labels Four Dies.

When I first saw this design, a window card popped into my head! This is what I came up with for a Mother's Day card!

For the card base, I embossed with Spellbinders™ M-Bossabilities™ EL-002 Regal Folder. This folder had a similar lattice design and goes well with the image. Then I cut a window using Vintage Labels Four Dies Small Oval die in the center.

The image was stamped three times on two different patterned papers and one white cardstock. I cut/embossed the stamped yellow patterned paper with Vintage Labels Four Die and cut the center out (yes, I cut into the Iris flower! LOL!) with the Small Oval die.

The stamped green patterned paper, I also cut/embossed with Vintage Labels Four Die and stamped "Mom" where it would peek out from the opening.

The image stamped on white cardstock, I fussy cut the Iris out and colored with Gelatos from Faber-Castell. Loved how it turned out :)

Lastly I assembled as shown in the final picture and it's ready to be given on Mother's Day!

JustRite Friday Challenge: In My Thoughts

WOW! 20 days without blogging - SORRY~! Went on a business trip with the hubster to his President's Club event in Maui, Hawaii :) Only two full days there and about two days' worth of round-trip travel - LOL!! Had a great time with a full schedule BUT am so proud of my husband and his accomplishments!!
