Hazel and Ruby: Very Merry, A6 Card Pad

Hey all! Just wanted to give my friends who are still getting holiday cards done (COUGHmeCOUGH) an idea! I was creating holiday cards from Hazel & Ruby Very Merry, A6 Card Pad. Goodness! They were SO EASY & FAST to create. Take a look...

I created four out of the five designs in this pad. Loved how they turned out and now I do NOT want to give them away - HA!

There are five designs with four card sheets of each. They come pre-scored and just fold the card in half for a card base!

With Spellbinders® S4-401 2013 Heirloom Ornament die set, I cut/embossed Holiday Party patterned paper.

Then I stamped an image from JustRite® Papercraft Heritage Christmas Ornament Clear Stamps set with Memento™ Luxe Teal Zeal Ink.

For the sentiment, I took sticker words from Very Merry, Bubbles & Babbles Sticker sheet and placed them on the die cut and the lower right corner of the card. To finish add ribbon and bling, adhere with 3D Foam Squares for a dimensional look!

JustRite: Remember When Background Cling Stamp - Dear Friend

Today, I am introducing JustRite® PaperCraft’s December 2013 Release – Remember When Background Cling Stamp and Call Me Soon Clear Stamps set using Spellbinders® M-Bossabilities™ EL-027 Numbers and Letters Folder, S4-399 Charmed I'm Sure die and Media Mixáge™ Squares One bezel to create a card.

12月の二日目の新しいスタンプセット(Remember When Background Cling Stamp and Call Me Soon Clear Stamps)の紹介です。男性向けとか、ヴィンテージ的なデザインでカードを作りました。便利なセットと思います。

Emboss the card base with Numbers and Letters Folder - love the design and the texture! Perfect for the theme, don't you think? LOL!

Using white cardstock I stamped Remember When Background Cling Stamp and trimmed the excess. Using two layers of All Wrapped Up patterned paper, I distressed all by using the Sand-It Gadget and scissor blade. Lastly I sprayed Coffee Glimmer Mist on the card panel.

Next, I stacked two 3D Foam Squares into the Squares One bezel - perfect size and height. Then I pushed  the star nailhead hard into the foam square (maybe tapping with a hammer might do a better job - lol!).

Cut/emboss Charmed I'm Sure tag and stamp sentiment from Call Me Soon Clear Stamps. Distress the same way as above and add watch parts as a finishing touch. Here's another look...

I stamped Time Flies Background Cling Stamp and Timely Banner Clear Stamps with Black Tuxedo Memento™ Ink. Using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Silver Ice, Gold Champagne and Metallic Blueberry Gelatos which have metallic pigment - perfect for a new year's card!

I layered David Tutera for Darice Celebrate Cardmaking System Step 2 Lace Linked Assortment on top of his Black Glitter Assorted Card base that has a beautiful sparkly effect.

I placed the colored card panel on top and it's ready for a new year! Can't believe it's just around the corner - YIKES!

Faber-Castell: Thanksgiving Tin

Hazel and Ruby: Gone Typo Celebrate Today Birthday Card

Hello! I created a birthday card with Hazel & Ruby's Gone Typo Collection. A sweet friend in the industry is celebrating a birthday today - Happy Birthday, Ken :) This collection is versatile that you can make a masculine themed project too!

With a combination of die templates, I created a wonderful layer of JustRite® Papercrafts' Vintage Labels Four and Spellbinders Labels Twenty-Two and Marvelous Squares dies. Once I cut/embossed them with Wanderlust Patterned Paper (both sides) and white cardstock, I inked the edges of the patterned papers to make them stand out a little...using both direct ink to paper technique and some cotton tips.

I stamped my image/sentiment from Celebrate Today Vintage Labels Four Clear Stamps set on white cardstock and then cut/embossed Vintage Labels Four die over the it. To color, I used Teal and Blue Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils by using a water brush and my fingers to blend the Light Yellow PITT Pastel Pencil area...all wonderful products from Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft®!

Then I layered all with 3D Foam Squares to give the layers dimension and placed it on top of the card panel that was handcut with Just Sayin' Patterned Paper that was also edged with ink. This card base came from Hazel & Ruby's A6 Card Pad line...so convenient to use and great designs! Each collection has a card pad :)

Michaels Stores: Pinterest Party (Nov 10th 2013, 1 to 4PM)

For my friends that live near the Michaels Store in Schaumburg IL, please join me as I will show off my Pinterest project, using Spellbinders Grand Calibur® Die Cutting and Embossing Machine with our die templates and our M-Bossabilities™ folders! Here are two of my projects I will be bringing!

With one fabulous die template, S5-111 Angle Approach Cut•Fold•Tuck set, you can layer/stack your die cuts and add a pearl in the center for a quick card. This one took less than 10 minutes!!

The shaped card was created with S4-347 Labels Twenty-Three (retired). Make sure to die-cut two pieces, edge with ink and score 1/2" from the top. Apply wet adhesive in the scored area and match up the two die cuts together. Cut, Emboss and Stencil S4-328 Foliage die cut for beautiful details. Roll S4-351 Spiral Blossom One with a quilling tool. Assemble all to create this wonderful shaped card.

Today, I am introducing JustRite’s November 2013 Release – Sweet Hearts Clear Stamps designed by the talented Samantha Walker using Spellbinders® S5-204 Lace Hearts dies also designed by Samantha to create a card. On a personal note: this card is perfect for wishing my hubby a happy wedding anniversary - 21 years! It was yesterday but the sentiment on this card expresses how I feel about my hubster!! OK...back to our card! LOL!!

Using Spellbinders 5 x 7 Card Creator Series, I cut/embossed S6-001 5 x 7 Matting Basics A and 5 x 7 Matting Basics B die templates with patterned paper (Red - Authentique Paper and Black - Carta Bella).

Then I cut/embossed S6-004 Detailed Scallops die with white cardstock.

I used only the embossing sandwich S5-204 Lace Hearts Heart 4 die with the red die cut and sanded to highlight the design.

With the Sweet Hearts Clear Stamps set, I stamped the heart first and then later the sentiment (couldn't make up my mind! lol!!).

Next I added two ribbons, tied one in a knot and added two heart stick pins. Sequins were adhered on the card panel.

Lastly, the embellished card panel was placed on a 5 x 7" white card base and it's ready to be delivered! Another look...

JustRite: Coffee & Friends Background Cling Stamp

Today, I am introducing JustRite® PaperCraft’s November 2013 Release – Coffee & Friends Background Cling Stamp set using Spellbinders® S6-002 5 x 7 Matting Basics B and M-Bossabilities™ EL-015 Bricks and Bark Folder to create a textured card.

今日は、４日目のJustRite 11月リリースの紹介です。アメリカ的な　イメージのバックグランドスタンプです～！Faber-Castellの色鉛筆で色をつけました。カードベースにSpellbindersのエンボスフォルダを使い、エンボスのDesignをつけました。

I used a card base from Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock®/David Tutera™ for Darice Celebrate Cardmaking System and embossed with Spellbinderse M-Bossabilities EL-015 Bricks and Bark Folder. To highlight the embossing even more, I dauber sponged the Rich Cocoa ink. TIP: lightly mist the card base with water to loosen the paper fibers for a deeper emboss :)

I wanted to add a little more color to the card so I cut/embossed S6-002 5 x 7 Matting Basics B with patterned paper and for a perfect layering piece. Tie a burlap ribbon for another dimension!

Using a combination of ART GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils and PITT Pastel Pencils, I colored the image in a soft and warm tones.

Assemble and it's ready to go! Here's a second look...
