Inky Stamper: On a Roll Belated Birthday Card

My project is very special as I am honored to showcase a new line of stamps and craft dies by my talented friend, Chelsea Comer of Inky Stamper!! YAY!! Chelsea is NOT new to the industry. Her line has been in the making for many years so there's more to come - I am looking forward to that!

I am thrilled to introduce her TP Stamp Set - it has humor and fun! LOL! It is a clear stamp set with seven different designs and sentiments. Challenging myself to a masculine card, I added a paper piecing technique and a unique photo corner element to my On a Roll Belated Birthday Card. Take a look!

**I receive products from Inky Stamper and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use.**

On a Roll Belated Birthday Card Step Out

I stamped the mouse in the roll stamp design with black ink on white cardstock using a stamp positioning tool.

Keep the tissue roll realistic, I had stamped mainly the roll on white tissue paper. LOL! I fussy cut the mouse out and put aside to add later.

Since I don't color very well, I stamped the mouse design onto grey cardstock and fussy cut him. I used a black brush pen to edge the mouse for a finished look.

Next, add dimension on the back by adding a combination of 3D Foam Circles White Regular and Small, and 3D Foam Squares White Regular. Set aside to add later.

Stamp the I was on a Roll sentiment on the bottom of the card panel in dark brown.

I was thinking of this as a more masculine card so I thought layers would be appropriate for the belated birthday card.

Cut the following layers into: third layer (black) - 4.00 x 5.25-inch; second layer (white) - 3.75 x 5.00-inch; first layer (Kraft) - 3.50 x 4.75-inch and the stamped card panel is 3.00 x 4.25-inch.

Let's concentrate on the card panel. I wanted to do something unique to the edges and decided to play up the Silver color (think mouse!).

Each corner had a Creative Photo Corner in Silver and each side had a border of photo corners which were secured by a line of E-Z Runner Micro adhesive.

For extra interest, I added 3D Foam Squares on the back. But first I adhered the other card panels together and then centered the card panel on top.

Before I add the layered card panel on the A2-size (4.25 x 5.50-inch) Kraft card base, I stamped the inside for a humorous belated birthday wish - LOL! Note for this card, I masked out the flies since I had the sentiment on top.

At the time of creating this card, I didn't have my inside written as "Oh, Crap!!! Sorry to have forgotten your birthday! Happy Belated!"

Once the card panel layers adhered to the card base, I started adding the rest of the elements such as the white tissue paper and grey mouse onto the card front.

Again, congratulations Chelsea!! Thanks for stopping by!
