Introducing Amazing Paper Grace | Sweet Cardlets II

Last October we introduced Cardlets and they are back in Sweet Cardlets II! A "Cardlet" is a small character motif that comes with a sentiment that fits within a 3 x 3-inch area and has a matching die. It just so happens that this size is perfect for the ever-popular Slimline Cards. Join us in introducing a new slimline as well - Hemstitch Slimline - it will match Hemstitch Rectangles and all of the other Hemstitch Classics.

I am thrilled to partner with Amazing Paper Grace to bring you this little taste of inspiration! Thank you for the die sets!

Sweet Cardlets are just like stamps, but they are metal plates used in the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System to transfer foil to paper through a combination of heat and pressure. The Glimmer machine base is rolled through your die-cut machine to deliver that pressure (Compatibility Charts are on the Spellbinders website).

The Inspiration behind Sweet Cardlets II

Since we are premiering the first Slimline Card Die for the Amazing Paper Grace line of dies, we wanted you to have plenty of sweet elements that fit onto the slimline. The small motif 3 x 3-inch footprint makes this easy. Add to that there is a matching die it makes for a cute pop of dimension on all of your cards - Slimline, A2 or A7.

Always mindful of the budget, Becca wanted to create a collection where each set is all you need to make a little card. Sweet Cardlets are small motifs with a 3 x 3-inch footprint. Sweet Cardlets also fit into the Cascade Card Base and work along with all of the Shadowbox Dies.

The ensemble features the GLP-283 You are My Home Glimmer Hot Plate and Die Set and S6-175 Hemstitch Slimline Dies.

Welcome to the Neighborhood Wreath Slimline Card

For the background to my card panel, I hot foiled the frame insert (scene) plate three times to fill the space. I adhered a piece of vellum over it to tone it down.

Then I inked a combination of green colors onto several white photo corners, interlocked them into a circle (using a cardstock ring as its base/guide) to create a wreath. Set aside. I hot foiled a sentiment using Welcome and to the neighborhood for my choice on white cardstock. Cut fishtail ends, adhere the wreath on the card panel with the sentiment, and add flowers created with the May 2021 Die of the Month - Mini 3D Vignette Garden Gate.

Home Wreath Gift Bag

Cut the medium pair of the Hemstitch Slimline dies three times, I used them as my background on the gift bag.

Then I hot foiled the plates from the You are My Home Glimmer Hot Foil Plates & Dies to create the focal point with my unique photo corner wreath.

Very creative and welcoming to a new person on the block - loaded with goodies and local information, I hope. Something that definitely would spark conversation on how lovely the bag was decorated. You certainly know how to welcome some one and how to create a lovely bag. Great job!
