Sparkles Altered Index Card Instructions
First I need to put a layer of gesso on my index cards. I only did five to start. Let dry.Using a wet brush, I covered the index card with water and then added my colors. For this card, I used blue and green. Color until you get your desired shades.
While the watercolors are drying, I grabbed a few pieces that I thought would work together well from the Ephemera Packs. I cut the center of the wreath.
For the layers, I cut 2.75 x 4.75-inch of the pink cardstock and 2 5/8 x 4 5/8-inch of the MP-60130 Watercolor Splash Glacier Blue. Then I distressed the edges of both with either fine grade sandpaper or a distressing tool.
To adhere the cardstock piece down to the watercolor index card, I used the E-Z Runner® Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser. For the MP-60130 Watercolor Splash Glacier Blue piece, I used the 3D Foam Square White in regular size to lift the layer.
The die cuts were taken from a combination of MP-60155 So Sweet Ephemera and MP-60156 So Sweet Ephemera. Pieces were secured with leftovers from the 3D Foam Circles Black in regular size. Don't waste ANYTHING! LOL! And you're done!
Repeat for the other two cards but with different colors and designs. Here's the close up of the other two below.
Big Thank You for stopping by my blog!
