Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: LDRS Creative Blog Hop
Today I'm hopping with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and LDRS Creative so check out the Blog Hop with LDRS Creative - Day 4! post for detailed tutorial, full supplies list and a chance to win a giveaway :)
I am excited to be participating in the Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and LDRS Creative Blog Hop!! Using both companies' products, I created an embossed get well card...
First I embossed the Gilded Embossing Folder to give my pink shimmery card base some dimension. Set aside.
I stamped a sentiment from the Wishing You Stamp Set with black ink on white cardstock. Using the second largest oval from the Gilded Oval Labels Set, I placed over the stamped sentiment and die cut. From the same die set, I cut the largest oval from green patterned paper.
With Adhesive Sheets 12 x 12", I applied adhesive on the back of leftover Lace Ribbons and sentiment die cut by burnishing the back with a bone folder.
I place the two pieces of ribbon on each side of the card base. Next I placed several 3D Foam Squares - Black, Reg on the back of the largest oval die cut. Then centered the smaller oval die cut on top.
Then I placed the die cut between the pieces of Lace Ribbons. To finish, I placed Dodz™ Small on each side of the large oval die cut and sprinkled pink glitter on top for accents.
Another look at the finished card....

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and Stampendous Blog Hop: Hello Mom Card Tutorial
I am thrilled to be part of this Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L®/Stampendous® Blog Hop today on Day 5! My card can be used as a Mother's Day card or just to say "Hello" to mom :) It has dimension and I only colored the die cuts as I wanted to showcase them on the card front.
Using the largest stamp, I stamped on the right side of 5 x 7" Kraft card base to create the background.
To achieve those colors, I took a piece of mixed media paper and started to different colors of Design Memory Craft® Gelatos®. I blended using a water mister and a little bit of baby wipes for my desired look. Pinks and Purples for flowers and Greens and Blues for the birds.
After the colors dried, I placed the Cling Hummingbirds Stamp Set from Stampendous® on my stamp placement tool and stamp with black ink. Place the coordinating die from Hummingbirds Die Set over the stamped image and secure with repositionable tape. Went through my manual die cutting machine. Repeat a few times to get your desired number of die cuts.
Then I adhered the flower die cuts using a combination of 3D Foam Squares White Regular, White Small and Adhesive Sheets 4 x 6" to create dimension. Lastly, I added the humming bird die cut by stacking two 3D Foam Squares for extra height.
For the finishing touches, I applied E-Z Runner® Ultra Refillable Dispenser on a couple of the flowers and pressed in Spring Micro Glitter Kit (purples & pinks for flowers and green for the bird). Then I added mini letter stickers to customize my sentiment, tie Girlie Grunge Twine in Natural and it's ready to be sent to mom!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! If you do, I welcome you to become a follower on my blog :)

Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L: Angel Wings DIY Frame with 3D Foam Wings
Today I am creating a picture frame out of canvas panel, die cuts and our 3D Foam Wings. By adding your favorite picture secured with Creative Photo Corners Gold, you have an elegant gift to give!
Using two sets of 3D Foam Wings, I layered them and covered them with Pigment Powder Gold with my finger and brush for details.
Then add them on a intricate designed oval die cut, leaving enough room for the angel die cut in the center.
On the back of the gold metallic angel die cut, I placed Dodz™ Small on each shoulder and adhered onto the wings.
For the background, I die-cut a beautiful rectangular shape in white cardstock and applied it onto Adhesive Sheet 6 x 12" for a full coverage on the back. Then I adhered it to my black chalk paint canvas panel.
In the back of the canvas panel, I placed a pre-made easel piece. To make sure it would stick forever, I also applied our Home & Hobby Line Extreme Double -Sided Tape 1/4" Permanent! LOL!!
Last, I placed two small strips of Extreme Double -Sided Tape 1/8" Permanent on the back left side of the angel die cut. I did this so that you can place a picture underneath the die cut for placement and secure with four Creative Photo Corners Gold.
Here's a close up and another look at the finished frame...
