Paper House Productions: Washi Tape Flower Card

Do you have a lot of washi tapes in your craft stash? I am raising my hands! In my CAS (Clean And Simple) style card, I will show you two techniques. The gold foil in this Paper House® Productions washi tape is stunning against the watercolor background.

Interested in their tapes? I have a promo code if you plan to order through the Paper House® Productions website. Use PH18MARGIE and get 15% off your purchase.

**I receive products from Paper House Productions, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® and Spellbinders Paper Arts for use in my projects. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience and doing so I can share what I personally love to use.**

Washi Tape Uses

The first use of washi tape I used the thinner tape to make loops in order to make a blossom. I made two to layer on top of each other for a fuller bloom.

Once the two blossoms were created, I used an Adhesive Dot Small and adhered the two.

The second use was to create a background on my A2 (4.25 x 5.5 inch) white card base. I used two washi tapes - a thin gold one and a complimentary wider gold foiled tape. By placing alternatively on a diagonal, you achieve an interesting design. Trim off the excess to finish.

Next, I die-cut Layered Leaf Vines etched die with white cardstock to balance out my washi tape flower. Using Adhesive Dots Small, I adhered both vine die cuts on top of the washi tape background.

To secure the washi tape flower, I used Adhesive Dots Large in between the vine die cuts and placed the flower on it.

Finally, I centered a 3D Foam Circle Black Small in the flower and added foil to tie in the gold foil accent on the tapes.

Now it's ready to be given away! So quick, easy and has an impact, don't you think?

Share with me your washi tape projects - link in comments so that I can visit! I am always looking to use my tapes in fun ways.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
