Bo Bunny: Happy Halloween Basket

Here's another just for FUN project I created a couple of weeks ago - a pumpkin shaped basket! It was made the same time I created a layout - Serendipity Sketch Challenge: Treat Or Treat Scrapbook Page post. Do you remember?

The pumpkin basket was created with Nested Pumpkin die templates (retired but will find online or some  retailers) and Grand Nestabilities Grand Big Scalloped Circle (also retired but the Grand Scalloped Circles work too!). This inspiration came from a recent LSS anniversary challenge :)

Here's a collage of all four sides that I managed to decorate - I used a lot of 3D Foam Squares to give it dimension :)

I first created the base with my Big Scalloped Circle die cut by folding each sides and adhering to form a box.

Next I cut two Nested Pumpkin die cuts with chipboard using Die #5 (the smallest being die #1) and four die cuts with patterned paper.

Cover both sides - one side orange and one side purple each. Make sure to ink the edges.

For the handle, I took an 8 x 1½" strip of patterned paper, centered the border sticker on top and trimmed the excess. Then ink the edges and attached to the inside with Dotz™ for placement. Poked a hole to put my brad in for extra security.

Then the FUN starts - embellishing the sides! This is my front and of course, I had to add BLING! LOL!!
