Challenge: Fun Moment 12 x 12 Scrapbook Page

When I first saw Serendipity May 2014 Sketch challenge, I HAD to make something with this WONDERFUL & TRENDY design - thanks, Miyuki-san!!!! BONUS: I saw 2Peas National Scrapbook Day Challenge's Gold Color Trends with Jen Gallacher so it's in that gallery too. CLICK ON IMAGES to make it larger :)

Yup, the person next to me is SUPER SWEET & TALENTED Teresa Collins who is an AMAZING designer! I am lucky to have her as a friend in the industry for over 8 years and it's been five years since we took a picture together! LOL! Thanks Teresa and Creative Cards & Crafts (Villa Park IL) where she taught a couple of weeks ago!!

Here's what I created from the sketch! 私の作品です～！

I used Teresa Collins' Hello My Name Is Collection (Photo Overlays) for just the right amount of accent for the photo. To secure them together, I used Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L® gold photo corners - the color is beautiful and has a matte tone.

To continue on my gold accents, I inked the edges of the patterned papers and die cuts for a subtle highlight.

Next I layered and adhered all the pieces with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Runner Permanent Tape Adhesives.

The ribbon tails, I bent them for dimension and adhered them with Dodz™ medium glue rounds.

Then I layered all the triangles from Spellbinders® Nested Pennants die templates and added 3D Foam Squares to some of them for extra dimension.
