I decided to do something that is in trend right now, embroidery hoops, and with one of my favorite pictures (a group of girls on a recent road trip to Iowa for a special friend's wedding). Here's the embellished hoop commemorating an amazing time!
For the background, I wanted texture so I weaved nine pieces of 9½" length of Canvas Ribbon White Canvas Ribbons enough to cover the 8" hoop and secured with Extreme Double-Sided Tape - 1/2" Premium. Secure the woven piece in the hoop and trim the edges.
From two pieces of patterned paper, I cut photo mats to layer on top of each after the edges were distressed and colored with Pigment Powder - Brown.
With a combination of the Spiral Blossom Four die and Lace Ribbons Crochet Scalloped Eyelet Trim, I rolled and adhered them with Dodz™ - XL. I added a touch of Pigment Powder - Pink on the tops of the ribbon flowers.
Now for the FUN part - ASSEMBLE! First I adhered Lace Ribbons Crocheted Lace 1" Trim, photo mats and photo. Then placed all the flowers with Dodz™ - XL. To add accents, I pulled out the 3D Foam Swirls and colored them with Pigment Powder - Pink. I placed them for a soft accent to the flowers.
Here's another look...
