I haven't posted much about it as we're busy creating tutorials on Core'dinations.com under David Tutera Cards' How-To section. In the Congratulations category, I have three tutorials up (Baby Congrats, Blue Congrats and Chevron Congrats) - SO EXCITED!!
I'd like to share a card that I created with the card system and one of my favorite paper manufacturer, Authentique Paper...PERFECT FOR OUR VETERANS!
Stars N Stripes Thank You by Margie Higuchi Supplies - 5½ x 5½" White Cardbase, A7 Layer Bulk Sheets, Sentiment Sticker and Sand It Gadget: David Tutera Celebrate Card System; Patterned Paper: Authentique Paper (Glory Collection); Ink: Ranger (Distress Ink); Trendy Tape: Queen & Co.; Folder: Sizzix; Adhesive: ScraPerfect (the Best Glue Ever) |
First I took a blue A7 Layer Bulk Blue Sheet and used a star design embossing folder. I used the Sand It Gadget to highlight the embossing.
Next, I trimmed the embossed cardstock and patterned paper to size and adhered both papers to the 5½ x 5½" card base.
Then I placed two layers of Queen & Co. Trendy Tape to cover the middle where the two papers meet. Edge the card base with red ink and add the sentiment as shown below.
A second look at the card...
BIG THANK YOU TO OUR VETERANS & THEIR FAMILIES!!
APPRECIATION to our veterans - past, present and future!!
Thanks for stopping by!
