ScrapMart: An Elegant Frame

I am so excited to show you Impression Obession Cover-A-Card stamp - it's HUGE (5¾ x 5¾")! I used the Cover-A-Card Damask image to cover my entire frame. This frame was created with chipboard, cardstock, photo corners and embellishments :0)

Elegant Frame by Margie Higuchi
Supplies - Cardstock, Embossing Powder and Ribbon: American Crafts; Stamp: Impression Obession (Cover-A-Card Damask); Embossing Ink: TSUKINEKO; White Paint: Studio Paint (CHelmuth/Ranger); Pearl: Prima; Dies: Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (LF-126 Grand SquaresES-005 EnchantedS4-357 Spiral Blossom Three, S5-086 Bitty Blossoms and S4-345 Picot Edge Circles); Photo Corners: SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L; Adhesive: ScraPerfect (The Best Glue Ever)

Supplies available at Scrap-mart.com:
Impression Obession Cover-A-Card Damask
American Crafts Cardstock and Ribbon
American Crafts Embossing Powders
Spellbinders Paper Arts Dies
Spellbinders M-Bossabilities™ Folder

I heat embossed the image to create a beautiful background for our couple's picture. Afterwards, I cut/embossed the image with LF-126 Grand Squares and cut/embossed chipboard of the same size to create the frame base. I used white paint to finish the edges. For an easel, I purchased a pack of self adhesive chipboard ones from an office supplies store.

I embossed a piece of cardstock that matted the picture with Spellbinders M-Bossabilities Enchanted folder (Side B). To hold the picture, I chose silver photo corners from SCRAPBOOK ADHESIVES BY 3L. They have a wonderful variety of photo corners!

Here's a second look at the frame...

This was taken in Maui last month. We attended a black tie dinner. My husband was inducted into his bank's President Club - top 10% of sales for 2011 in his division. So VERY proud of him!

Thanks for stopping by!
